At Prizedrop, we offer a free postal entry route for all eligible competitions and games in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.

This means you can enter without making a purchase and still have an equal chance of winning.


 How to Enter for Free

To enter any of our competitions or games for free, simply send a postcard or letter including the following details:

  • Full Name
  • Full Postal Address
  • Email Address
  • Contact Telephone Number
  • The name of the competition or game you wish to enter

 Important Entry Rules

  • Only one entry per envelope or postcard
  • Entries must be handwritten (no printed or bulk entries)
  • Entries must be legible and complete
  • Entries must be received before the competition closing date
  • Incomplete, illegible, or late entries will be disqualified
  • Postal entries are processed within 3–5 working days of receipt

 How Postal Entries Work

  • Each valid postal entry will be converted into the equivalent number of entries/tickets for the selected competition or game
  • Postal entries are entered into the system with equal weighting to paid entries
  • All outcomes are determined at the point of entry, and any animations are for visual purposes only

 Fair Play & Equal Chance

All valid entries — whether submitted via payment or post — have an equal chance of winning.

We do not give preference to paid entries.


 Abuse & Fair Usage

To ensure fairness for all participants:

  • Bulk, automated, or mechanically reproduced entries are not permitted
  • Multiple entries sent in a single envelope will be disqualified
  • We reserve the right to refuse entries that appear fraudulent or abusive
